One of my all time favourite Friends-lines has to be the one where Joey asks Ross (after Ross steps on his chest climbing down the fire escape):

Oh my.. how much do you weigh Ross?!

His answer:

I prefer not to answer that right now, I’m still carrying a little holiday weight.

It’s hilarious but actually so true. I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely carrying a little

(read a lot) of long weekend weight.

If you are feeling as round and bloated as the pink balloon in Minki’s hand, don’t cry!

With some clever styletips- and tricks from yours truly, you can hide the unwanted flab,

Just until you are back to your happy weight!

And before you can say Virgin Active you will be looking and feeling fine!

The Loose(ish) Dress:

This one is kind of self-explanatory! Loose = hide and this is exactly what we are trying to do, this time of the year. The A-line shape is flattering on almost all body types.

I can’t resist a floral print, but you go out and get a dress that suits your style and personality.

As long as it’s: all together now LOOSE!

The High-Waisted Pants:

I truly believe that the designer (bless her soul), who first came up with this high-waisted pants idea, was a mother that just had a caesarean.

Because after Minki, high-waisted pants became my new best friend.

The high-waist instantly smooths that flabby lower tummy (for those of you that don’t know, comes for free with a caesarean)!

Put on shapewear panties, for an extra slimming look.

No one will know and you will look a few kilo’s lighter.

The Voluminous Skirt:

Just add volume!

But we are trying to look thinner? I bet that’s what you were thinking..

Trust me on this one. If you add volume on the bottom you instantly look slimmer on top.

It’s basic fashion maths:

The volume on the bottom balance out your top half.

The Pretty Sandal:

Because feet cannot put on weight!

So, book that pedi, yes you deserve it!

And put on the prettiest, most eye-catching sandal you can find.

People will be mesmerized by your beautiful feet and won’t even notice your cellulite.

Pompom sandals @Mrprice
Pedicure @Perfect10

Last but definitely NOT LEAST:

Life’s way too SHORT to worry about that glimpse of cellulite or droopy boobs (Due to breastfeeding)!

Whatever your Reason…

Stop obsessing!

and don’t SWEAT the small stuff.

For goodness sake you had a little human being inside your tummy!

And now you’re (trying) to raise it, I mean her!

Give yourself a high-five and some self-love.

Stay Stylish (and happy!)
